Any large flat and water proof surface can be a great food canvas. For many years I used beveled edge mirrors and they make a dazzling surface for food displays. platters are great, so are wooden boards, large flat tiles or even glass mirrors with beveled edges.

- Tomato; great for turning tomato roses.
- Lime
- Pickle
- Chilled serving tile, mirror or platter.
