Watch “Shrimp Cocktail or Prawn Cocktail?” on YouTube

Here is a quick recipe video on how to make a prawn cocktail, that is still tasting good after all these years. Get this original digital art framed print here.

The recipe and cost estimation are down below.

We worked on 30 prawns per kg at a cost of $29.00 per kg and 13 shrimp per lb at a cost of $14.00 per lb. The product is bought with the shell on, happy peeling.

I would love to know how much you pay in your country.

We work on weights with all our recipes so the cost estimation is more accurate. This recipe uses around 250g or 7 oz of cooked prawns or shrimp with the shell on.

If you buy the right amount by using the “cater for” calculator below and try to stick to the correct weight you get very close to the correct amount of portions, this may save you wasting a good amount of food and money. Shop our original framed digital art print here.
